Hi! Welcome to the new(ish) COTT e-newsletter! I want to first thank Melanie Ryan for taking this on; she's been working diligently to pull this together and we wouldn't have been able to do it without her. Since this is our first newsletter in a couple of years, consider this a work in progress. We want this to be a resource for COTT members to ask questions, find out what's going on with the club, and meet some of our local coaches, members, and sponsors. We will be seeking feedback about this issue from all of you soon.

I also wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself. I have been racing triathlon for about four years; I participated in my first race (Wendy's) with Team in Training and I was immediately hooked. For me, racing has meant a great way to stay in shape, meet new people, and challenge myself physically. Through Team in Training and other charities, I've also been able to participate in this amazing sport, and still give back to the community, which, above PRs and distances, is most important to me.

Outside of triathlon, I work as an editor for McGraw-Hill, I have two amazing dogs that I talk about all the time (sorry), I play softball and soccer (badly), and I'm working on my Masters degree at Ohio State.

My goal for COTT this year is to get more member involvement, not just in group workouts, but in meetings, clinics, and on the message board. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have questions, concerns, ideas, or need anything. I look forward to meeting more of you this year!
